The end of November saw the UK’s leading spare parts retailer, and Birmingham based business, eSpares go from strength to strength, hitting two milestones in quick succession; on the back of being a winner at the eCommerce 2014 Awards.
eSpares, pride themselves on providing excellent customer service throughout each stage of the customer’s journey and beyond. And the hard-work has paid off, as during November, they recorded their 20,000th review on Trustpilot.

Have a look around your kitchen, how many appliances can you see? There will be your cooker, hob and cooker, no doubt a microwave too; not to mention a washing machine and in a large proportion of homes a tumble dryer too.
In your cupboards you may also have a blender, toaster and steamer. These are all from one room, when you consider the other appliances dotted around your home there will be a vast number. Now, imagine if you will for a moment that a couple of these appliances (the bigger ones such as your cooker and washing machine) stop working. Frustrating right? Not to mention costly.

Today at eSpares we are celebrating er mourning the loss of a brill employee, Christina. Christina began her wonderful eSpares journey all the way back in 2008 when the brand was only just beginning to gather steam – no thanks to her. She then bounced back to her homeland of Canada to continue her studies at Western Ontario University. Her heart however, longed to be back on the banks of the Thames and she returned to ol’ Blighty.In February 2012 she re-joined eSpares in the role of copywriter.

We are a fruitful office at eSpares. Yes, fruitful. At the beginning of each week a delectable basket of fresh fruit is delivered for all employees to share and enjoy. With each basket purchase, Fruitful Office donates to the planting of one fruit tree in Africa by supporting the planting fruit trees in Africa campaign. It’s a pretty sound little campaign and were happy to be helping to such a great cause. Not to mention we also get delicious, healthy snacks which make us all the more prepared, energised and excited about hinges, shelves, drawers, door seals and the like!

We are very proud to announce that we’ve reached an incredible 5 million views of our how-to videos (5,580,269 to be exact!). The eSpares YouTube channel was born in December 2008 with just a handful of videos. Originally the vids were filmed in the homes of grateful eSpares staff but they’re currently filmed on a set in-house. Customer feedback has been crucial in helping us learn what types of faults are most common with appliances and therefore what we should be filming to help you. All the research and presenting is done by our own staff which further shows that most problems can be fixed by anyone no matter how DIY-inclined you might be.
