It’s almost time when Santa’s sleigh will be flying miles high in the sky filled to the brim with toys for all the good little girls and boys. Or something like that.
“A Child’s Christmas in Wales” by Dylan Thomas is without a doubt my favourite Christmas past time. It’s an absolutely brilliant short story about, well, a child’s Christmas in Wales as a matter of fact. Was able to find a short excerpt below:

Whilst everyone has been worried about finding the right presents for loved ones or shedding a few extra lbs before the holidays, I’ve been somewhat more pre-occupied with how I’m going to celebrate when the end of the world doesn’t happen.
Nibiru a Sumerian discovered a planet is traveling full speed ahead on a collision course towards the earth and due to strike December 21, 2012. It was also due to strike back in May of 2003 but when nothing happened the date got pushed backward. In fact, that’s perhaps just decided my celebratory event; ‘Guess the next end of world date’ cocktail party. Dress to impress.

The film crew at eSpares has been busy filming some how to videos featuring a rather handy device called a multimeter. Basically, mulitimeters can test for potential faults (that are not otherwise visible with the naked eye) within the components of appliances. This helps determine what needs to be replaced/ fixed. They’re inexpensive, fairly easy to use and don’t look half bad either.

The manufacturer White Knight has issued a safety notice which relates to a part fitted to a small group of tumble dryers that were manufactured in 2010. The part in question is a connector that was fitted to a number of dryers manufactured in October of 2010. The part does not meet White Knight’s required specifications and is being regarded as a potential fire hazard.
