Doing the laundry may seem like a fairly straight-forward household chore. Indesit Company – the company behind Hotpoint, Indesit, and Creda have issued a safety notice for their tumble dryers, after identifying potential concerns.
Following a review of products, potential concerns with the condenser and vented tumble dryers manufactured between April 2004 and September 2015 have been identified. The company has found that in rare cases excess fluff can come into contact with the heating element, which presents a fire risk.
