Tomorrow we’re shooting some videos on an old Sebo X1 vacuum. Before we get to shooting the videos, obviously we need to do a bit of research in to the appliance. Apart from taking the appliance apart, we do a lot of online research. Whilst researching today I found a quite surreal American informercial shot in the 1980s(?) for the Windsor Sensor vacuum. A lot of planning goes in to every How-To video we shoot. A general rule is for every day’s worth of filming we do, a day’s worth of planning goes in to it too. Usually, Gabe, the director/editor/cameraman/Mr. Fix It, heads down to the set a couple of days in advance.
Once a hearty sausage roll from Kucci Cafe just round the corner, he sets about literally deconstructing the whole appliance we’re due to work on down to the sum of its parts.

Our Call Centre will close at 6pm on Thursday 23rd December and remain closed for the Christmas period. We will be reopen on Wednesday 29th December at 8am.

If you need that oven door seal to avoid a turkey disaster, or your vacuum cleaner extension tube has cracked and your having the in-laws over, have no fear – so long as you place your order in good time we can make sure you have your spares before the 25th.
The latest you can order to guarantee delivery before the big day is Monday 20th December for standard delivery, and Tuesday 21st December for next day delivery.
These dates only apply to orders despatched to UK addresses for products marked as ‘In Stock’. Additionally, we can’t guarantee pre-Christmas delivery if there’s further major snow disruption as there was earlier in the month. Fingers crossed we don’t get a white Christmas!
