Teaching us how to keep our surroundings neat, clean and organised through downsizing on items and belongings we don’t need, Marie Kondo’s eight-episode extravaganza highlights the physical and mental benefits of having a tidy home. With much of the focus being on the benefits of minimalism, this is definitely worth a watch if you’re interested in home organisation. Even more so if you’re interested it consuming less for the sake of the planet we all share! If you can do it yourself when it comes to keeping on top of your own world, you can do it yourself when it comes to looking after our world too.

Saving the best until last, David Attenborough’s ‘A Life on our Planet’ is all you could possibly need to open your eyes to the wonderfully diverse world we have out there – and what could become of it, and us, should we not become more environmentally conscious in the coming years. One thing we can all agree on is that we need to band together to do our part in helping our planet heal. And, while that’s no small task, there are plenty of small ways in which you can make a difference – and being more conscious of the materials you use to clean and maintain your home and its appliances is one of them!
