How would you feel if we told you it’s possible to clean your oven without those harmful chemicals or heavy amounts of elbow grease?
If this sounds like a dream, then read on my friends because the answer to your oven cleaning dilemma is steam! Yes, that’s right, completely free, no strong smells and does all the hard work for you! Follow the steps below for ways to clean your oven just using steam.
Step 1: Remove everything from the oven!
Racks, trays, pizza ovens, last nights lasagne, whatever you’ve been storing in your oven, take it out and make sure it’s completely clear!
Step 2: Remove debris
While you’re in the habit of removing things, gently wipe down the inside of the oven with a damp cloth to remove any food debris from the inside floor.
Step 3: Prep for the clean!
Fill an oven safe dish with part water and part white vinegar and place it on a rack in the middle of your oven.
Step 4: Turn on the oven
Told you these steps were easy! Turn the oven on to 250 degrees and leave for 30 minutes.
Step 5: Wash your racks
While you’re waiting on your oven clean, wash the racks in hot soapy water or place them in the dishwasher on a heavy cycle.
Step 6: Remove any leftovers
When your 30 minute timer has finished, use a scouring pad around the inside of your oven to remove any food debris.
Step 7: Repeat if necessary
For stubborn stains or ovens that need a little bit more of a clean, repeat the process using just white vinegar in your dish
Step 8: Complete and celebrate!
Put your oven back together and prep for tonight’s dinner! (or you could get a takeaway and enjoy the cleanness for a while longer, your choice!)
If steam cleaning isn’t your thing, here’s another natural and easy way to keep your oven looking sparkling clean!

This is ace! Using steam to clean the oven is simple to do and eco-friendly. And what’s better is it will not cost you anything as you can use what you already have in your kitchen.
