Cracked Egg Plastered Up

Valves. Not Just for Plumbers!

Another day, another most requested video. We had a lot of people writing in and asking for a video on how to replace the inlet valve in a washing machine. Inlet valves tend to become damaged after a bout of cold – water can freeze inside them, causing them to crack.

A lot of people tend to think along these lines:

‘Water inlet valve?’

Washing machine?

Damaged?

Best call the plumber then.’

Well, that simply doesn’t have to be the case at all. Like I say, you requested it, and who are we to deny what the people want. Check out how easy it is.

Great video and explanation for people not in the plumbing industry! Great job!

One of the most common problems encountered with washing machines that need repairs, including Baumatic machines, is no water coming into the machine or the soap not being taken from the soap dispenser box.
