Dead Cooker?

We recently received some interesting feedback from a customer regarding a fix it yourself mishap (or rather what they thought was a mishap). After successfully replacing the element in their cooker and reconnecting to the mains, the cooker appeared to be dead. No power, no functions, nothing. As it turns out the replacement was a success but the reason for the power failure was simply because the clock/ timer needed to be reset. Depending on what type of cooker you have and how old it is, the type of clock will be different. See below for advice on resetting your clock.
