How to Keep the Kids Entertained this Easter Weekend

This year, the Easter weekend is going to be a little different, but that doesn’t mean it can’t still be fun! Instead of thinking of all the things we can’t do, we wanted to focus on all the things we can!

There are plenty of ways to keep yourself and your kids entertained this Easter weekend. Here are a few ideas to get you started!

Boiled Eggs In Eggcups

An egg-cellent start to the day

It’s tradition to start off your Easter celebrations with eggs for breakfast as eggs are a sign of new life and hope. How do you like your eggs in the morning? We say you’re never too old for a runny boiled egg with soldiers!

Easter eggs In Basket

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate

Did we say that enough? Easter is the one day of the year you can eat as much chocolate as you like and not feel guilty at all! Let your kids indulge in the sugar rush because we’ve got lots of activities to help them use up that the energy. Make sure you take full advantage and eat your fair share too!

Basket of Eggs In Garden

Host an Easter egg hunt

But first, before the chocolate consumption can begin, make them work for it! Hide as many eggs as you can all around the house and let your nearest and dearest hunt them down. (Gives you some time for a cuppa too!)

Have an egg and spoon race

Get out in your garden or even just play in your living room (just put something down to cover the carpet) and hold your very own egg and spoon race. Give a prize of even more chocolate to the winner and the kids will love it!
