Pressure Wash Your Elephant

You may or may not have heard of The Gadget Show, a Channel 5 magazine show that delights in all things, well, gadgety, funnily enough. It’s an agreeable watch, something to chuck on just as you’ve got home from work and need to relax for half an hour. Indeed, it’s Wikipedia page states that ‘it aims to give enough information for the more “geeky” or knowledgeable audience, but still making it accessible to the more casual viewer’, and I’d say that it fulfils that remit admirably.
One of the segments on the show is called ‘Jon’s Test’. Presented by Jon Bentley, it involves a Top Gear style product test on a different product each week. Previous products have included mountain bikes, sat navs and sunglasses.
You can imagine my excitement when I was pointed to Jon’s latest test, which happened to be on pressure washers. Our intrepid presenter friend heads to a safari park with pressure washers from Bosch, Nilfisk and Karcher in tow.
I must say his three tests are rather enjoyable. Aside from the run of the mill car wash test, he also hoses down the park’s elephants, which might well contribute to an upswing in pressure washer sales to the private elephant owner market.
Pressure washer owners, do you agree with the results? Do let me know.
