The manufacturer White Knight has issued a safety notice which relates to a part fitted to small group of tumble dryers that were manufactured in 2010. The part in question is a connector that was fitted to a number of dryers manufactured in October of 2010. The part does not meet White Knight’s required specifications and is being regarded as a potential fire hazard.

The connector in question was fitted to selected tumble dryers and has the potential to overheat. White Knight is currently attempting to locate all tumble dryers that may have been fitted with the component to remove the potential risk.

Which White Knight Tumble Dryers are affected?

The issue is restricted to a small group of model and serial numbers of the White Knight 1800 Condenser Dryer, so please take a look at the list below to see if your tumble dryer is affected:

Models:

• 0312 76A 15002 (77AW)
• 0312 767 15009 (767C)
• 0312 76A 15010 (77AW)
• 0312 76A 15330 (77AS)
• 0312 76A 31000 (CL76AWH)

The model number on your White Knight will be located on the inside of the tumble dryer door. If your model number matches one from the list then check the serial number as only some batches of the appliance have the connector component.
