I’m delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for two New Media Age Effectiveness Awards.
Our Fix It Yourself videos are up for both the ‘Best Retail Campaign’ award and the ‘Best Use of Video’ campaign. To see our name (or rather, the name of our Fix It Yourself campaign) in a shortlist that includes Nike, Coca-Cola and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1(!) is a bit mindblowing really.
I’d like to thank all of you guys for watching the videos, because if you hadn’t, they wouldn’t really have been effective, would they? And in an Awards that values effectiveness, it would have hurt our entry slightly.
But there I am, going all Gwyneth Paltrow, and we’ve not even won anything yet. If we were to win, who knows what I might come out with.
I just hope Ron Weasley shows up to the ceremony.
